Amy Hurd Early Learning Centre is seeking a passionate, experienced, and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher / Educational Leader to join our supportive and community-focused service. About the Role
The Early Childhood Teacher / Educational Leader will play a key role in guiding curriculum development, mentoring educators, and promoting best practice across the service. Working collaboratively with the Centre Director and team, you will lead and support the implementation of engaging, inclusive, and meaningful learning programs that reflect the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead curriculum planning and implementation across the service
- Mentor and support educators to enhance teaching practices and professional growth
- Guide reflective practice and continuous improvement processes
- Develop and implement engaging learning experiences that support children's development and wellbeing
- Ensure programming and documentation align with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
- Build strong partnerships with children, families, and the wider community
- Contribute to a positive,
collaborative, and inclusive team culture
- Support compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
About You
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
- Current Teacher Registration (or ability to obtain)
- Sound knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, and the National Quality Framework
- Experience in curriculum leadership or a strong interest in educational leadership
- Excellent communication, mentoring, and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisational and documentation skills
- Current Working with Children Check
- Passion for delivering high-quality early childhood education and care
