About the role

Diamond boutique is seeking a Jewellery Store Sales and Administration professional to join our team in Braddon, ACT. This is a casual position that can move to a full time position with flexibility whilst providing essential support to our retail operations. You will be at the heart of our customer experience, combining sales expertise with administrative efficiency to ensure our boutique runs smoothly. This role is crucial to maintaining the high standards our clientele expects and contributing to the boutique's continued success.

What you'll be doing

- Providing exceptional customer service and expert product knowledge to clients seeking jewellery purchases

- Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems

- Assisting customers with product selection, sizing and jewellery care advice

- Maintaining an organised, clean and visually appealing retail environment

- Handling administrative tasks including stock management, inventory tracking and record keeping

- Processing customer enquiries, orders and special requests with professionalism and attention to detail

- Supporting promotional activities through social media photography and content creation.

- Greeting customers warmly and creating a welcoming atmosphere in the boutique

- Assisting with cash handling and reconciliation procedures

- Collaborating with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain service standards

What we're looking for

- Previous retail experience, ideally in jewellery, luxury goods or a similar customer-focused environment

- Strong sales abilities with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service





- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and basic computer skills

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

- Attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks

- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and handle jewellery items with care

- Reliability and flexibility regarding work scheduling, including potential weekend and evening shifts

- Knowledge of jewellery, gemstones or precious metals is desirable but not essential

- A well-presented appearance and professional demeanour
