Job Description
We Are:
Accenture is a global collective of innovators whose aim is to improve the way the world works and lives. Empowered with cutting-edge tools, continuous learning and a global community of diverse talent, we drive success in new business architecture that disrupts conventional practices. And we are looking to add an experienced Life Sciences Cyber Intelligence Analyst to an already outstanding team.
You Are:
Accenture Security helps organizations prepare, protect, detect, respond to, and recover at every stage of the security lifecycle. We hire the best security talent and arm them with leading-edge tools and technology so they can help clients build resilience through integrated, customized solutions that blend risk strategy, digital identity, cyber defense, application security, and managed services.
As part of Accenture Security, the Cyber Intelligence (CI) team — specifically the Industry Intelligence and Analysis (IIA) team — are analysts and subject matter experts who produce finished intelligence for industry verticals for our various clients and internal stakeholders. For this position, the candidate should possess knowledge of the Life Sciences sector, cybersecurity, and cyber intelligence so that they can research and articulate the threat landscape facing pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology firms, medical device manufacturers, healthcare insurers, and healthcare providers, and translate complex intelligence findings into clear, actionable insights for both technical and executive audiences.
The Work:
As a Life Sciences Analyst within the IIA team, you will report to the Lead of the Industry Intelligence and Analysis Team. Your responsibilities include:
- Research, analyze, and produce finished intelligence on cyber threats targeting Life Sciences verticals — including Pharma, Biotech, Medical Devices, Healthcare Insurance, and Healthcare Providers
- Monitor and assess emerging cyber threat actors, threat groups, and campaigns with demonstrated relevance to Life Sciences clients and stakeholders
- Develop and maintain short- and long-term research projects that track threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) and broader conditions affecting Life Sciences cybersecurity posture
- Produce written intelligence reports, threat assessments, and executive-level briefings tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Collaborate with peer analysts and industry specialists across the IIA team to ensure cross-vertical intelligence integration and consistency
- Present findings through formal briefings, external engagements, and client-facing deliverables
- Support Accenture sales and business development efforts as a subject matter resource, including participation in proposals and client conversations
- Continue to grow and develop technical cyber intelligence and Life Sciences domain expertise
Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0% to 25% depending on business need and client requirements.
Qualification
Here's What You Need:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, intelligence analysis, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience and demonstrated knowledge of at least one Life Sciences vertical: Pharma, Biotech, Medical Devices, Healthcare Insurance, or Healthcare Providers
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience and demonstrated aptitude or experience in cyber threat intelligence production, including:
- Familiarity with tracking and analyzing threat actors — including cybercriminal groups and state-sponsored actors — targeting Life Sciences organizations
- Understanding of intelligence tradecraft fundamentals, including source evaluation, analytic confidence assessment, and structured analytic techniques (e.g., ACH, key assumptions checks)
- Experience or demonstrated ability to author finished intelligence products — threat reports, situational assessments, and written briefings — for diverse audiences
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience with regulatory and compliance frameworks relevant to Life Sciences (e.g., HIPAA, FDA cybersecurity guidance, NIST CSF)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate's Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)
Bonus Points If:
- You have prior professional or academic experience within a Life Sciences or healthcare organization
- You have experience with cyber threat intelligence platforms and tooling (e.g., Recorded Future, Mandiant Advantage, MISP, OpenCTI, or similar)
- You are familiar with MITRE ATT&CK; and can map adversary behavior to specific techniques
- You have experience with open-source intelligence (OSINT) collection and analysis techniques
- You hold relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CEH, GCTI, GREM, or similar
- You have external client-facing consulting or advisory experience within a Life Sciences or healthcare context
- You have experience analyzing threats specific to clinical research data, intellectual property theft, or drug supply chain integrity
