Foton Mobility Distribution is growing rapidly, and we are looking for an experienced, hands-on Pre-Delivery Supervisor to join our team.

You will lead the final preparation and inspection of our new buses and trucks, ensuring every vehicle is safe, defect-free, presented to a high standard and ready for customer acceptance.

This is a genuine hands-on leadership role. You will supervise and support your team, but you will also be prepared to roll up your sleeves, inspect vehicles, solve problems and help get the job done.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

You will:

• Plan and schedule new buses and trucks for pre-delivery preparation and customer acceptance inspections
• Lead and work alongside our pre-delivery team
• Inspect completed vehicles and identify defects, incomplete work or presentation issues
• Coordinate the rectification of defects and customer-specific vehicle requirements
• Check bodywork, interiors, panels, seating, flooring, fittings and accessories
• Coordinate contractors and external services, including wheel alignments, registration and green slips
• Keep vehicle preparation on schedule and communicate any issues or delays
• Maintain accurate inspection, defect and vehicle handover records
• Work closely with our KRW Quality team at Nowra to identify recurring issues and improve assembly quality
• Provide practical feedback, coaching and training to help achieve right-first-time quality
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the standard our customers expect

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

You will have:

• Experience in vehicle pre-delivery, body building, coach building, heavy vehicle assembly or a similar automotive workshop environment




• Experience supervising or leading a hands-on workshop, production or pre-delivery team
• A strong eye for detail and the ability to quickly identify defects or incomplete work
• Practical experience with vehicle fit-out, body components, installations, finishing work and workshop tools
• The ability to read build specifications, technical instructions and inspection documents
• Robust planning, prioritisation and contractor coordination skills
• A current unrestricted driver licence
• A reliable vehicle for approved business travel
• The flexibility to travel within NSW, including to Nowra, sometimes at short notice

A relevant automotive, fabrication, coach building or auto-electrical qualification will be highly regarded. Experience with buses, trucks, commercial vehicles or electric vehicles would be a real advantage.
