About the role

BP West Wyalong is a busy service station and convenience retail business serving local residents, travellers and commercial customers. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to oversee day-to-day retail operations and lead our customer service team.

Key responsibilities

- Manage the daily operations of the service station and convenience store.

- Supervise, train and roster retail staff.

- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve business targets.

- Manage stock control, inventory levels and supplier ordering.

- Ensure compliance with company policies, workplace health and safety requirements and retail standards.

- Handle customer enquiries and resolve customer service issues.

- Monitor cash handling procedures, banking and point-of-sale operations.

- Maintain merchandising standards and store presentation.

- Prepare operational reports and assist with budgeting and cost control.

- Recruit, train and develop team members to maintain high service standards.

About you





- Relevant qualification in Business, Retail Management or related field, or equivalent industry experience.

- At least 2 years of relevant experience as a Retail Manager.

- Demonstrated experience managing staff and retail operations.

- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.

- Experience in inventory management and sales reporting.

- Ability to work flexible schedule, including weekends and public holidays when required.
