The Role

We run Meta and Google ads, SEO and AEO for Australian service businesses — mortgage brokers, finance professionals, healthcare practices and trades. Our clients don't want impressions. They want leads that answer the phone.

We're looking for a senior Facebook / Meta Ads Manager to own campaigns properly: the strategy, the testing, the copy, the landing page, the tracking and the number at the bottom of the report.

Three things matter most to us, in this order: structured testing, tracking we can trust, and creative that earns attention.

1. Structured, Ongoing Testing

This is where we need the most help.

We run several campaigns across several client accounts, and we want someone who keeps a proper testing rhythm going — not a test when a campaign runs out of steam, and not a scramble when a client asks a hard question. Something is always being learned.

How we like to work:

- One variable at a time. The headline, or the image, or the audience, or the offer — not four at once. If everything changes and it wins, we've learned nothing.

- Give it enough data. We let tests run long enough to actually mean something. No calling a winner off two days and forty clicks.

- Every account has a plan. Each one knows what's being tested now and what's queued next. Nothing sits still for months.

- Winners become the new benchmark. When something beats the control, it becomes the control, and we go again.

- Write it down. What we changed, what we expected, what happened, what's next. That log is how the whole team gets smarter instead of repeating the same tests.

The goal is steady, compounding improvement — small things done well, over and over, until an account looks nothing like it did six months ago.

2. Tracking You Can Trust

Testing is only as good as the data underneath it, so the plumbing matters:

- Pixel and Conversions API — set up properly, deduplicated, actually firing

- GA4 and GTM, with events mapped to what the business really cares about

- CRM and call-tracking hand-offs, so a lead in the ad account matches a lead in the client's pipeline

- UTMs kept clean and consistent, so attribution isn't guesswork

- Audit before you optimise. You've caught a "great" campaign that was double-counting, and a "dead" one that just wasn't tracking

3. Creative

Creative is the biggest lever in Meta,

and we'd rather you weren't stuck in a queue waiting for it.

We're keen to find someone who can use ChatGPT, Gemini, Midjourney or similar to produce genuinely good ad images themselves — on brand, on message, ready to test. Prompting is a real skill now and we treat it like one. Concept, prompt, iterate, refine.

You'd also:

- Brief video, UGC and designed assets clearly enough that they come back close to right — script, shot list, angle, hook

- Turn one winning angle into several variations so there's always something in the test queue

- Know what a solid first frame looks like, and what makes a thumbnail get scrolled past

- Stay inside brand and inside Meta's ad policies

We're not asking for a designer. We're asking for someone comfortable making a good creative idea real.

Also In The Role

- Write the ad copy — hooks, angles, primary text, headlines

- Write and brief landing pages that convert the click we just paid for

- Build, launch, scale and retire campaigns across a small portfolio of accounts

- Simple straight to the point reports

You'll Fit If

You're proud of your craft. You care how the work is put together, not just whether it shipped. You want the best result the account can give — and you take real satisfaction when it lands.

You care and pay attention to details (really). A missing letter jumps off the screen at you faster than anything else in the room. Broken tracking, a stray full stop in a headline, a form that doesn't fire — you tend to spot it before anyone else, because you look.

You write. Not "I can brief a copywriter" — you write. Ads, landing pages, hooks, offers. You know the difference between clever and clear, and you pick clear.

You know your numbers. CPL, CPA, ROAS, hook rate, LP conversion rate. You know which one is off and which lever moves it.

You're happy to ask for help. Nobody here is world-class at everything. If you're the creative one — strong on imagery,

angles and ideas — but you'd like a second set of eyes on the writing and the fine detail, just say so. What matters is that you own it: you know your gap, you get the right person in the team across it, and it's sorted before anything goes live. Owning it is the standard. Hiding it isn't.

How We Work

We don't rush, and we don't overload people. We deliberately keep account loads light — we'd rather bring in another pair of hands than have someone juggling more than they can do well. You'll have the room to test properly and think about the work.

We set expectations with clients up front. No over-promising, no magic timelines. We'd rather under-promise and over-deliver, because that's what keeps clients with us for years instead of months and keeps the drama out of the relationship. We'd like your help holding that line — if something isn't realistic, better we all know before it's agreed than after it's missed.

You'll have real independence. Meetings only when they're actually useful. Otherwise, get on with the work in the hours that suit you.

We enjoy this, and we celebrate the wins. When an account turns a corner, that's worth stopping for. Supportive team, no politics, no one waiting for you to slip up.

Craft and balance aren't opposites. We want great work and we want you to have a life. Flexible hours, remote, and a workload that respects both.

The Arrangement

- Contract to start: 10–20 hours a week, flexible when you work them

- Fully remote, anywhere in Australia

- Commission on top — when the work performs, it shows up in your pocket

- Can grow into more hours, or a full-time role, if it's working well on both sides

- Hourly rate discussed on application, based on experience

Nice To Have

- Agency or multi-account experience

- GoHighLevel, WordPress or similar

- Finance, healthcare or local services verticals

- Basic video editing or Canva skills

How To Apply

Apply through Seek with your CV and a short note covering:

1. A test you're proud of. What you changed, what you expected, what actually happened.

2. An ad image you made with AI. Attach it or link it, and tell us roughly how you got there.

3. A tracking problem you found and fixed.

4. One thing you're not the best at, and how you handle it.
