We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Enrolled Nurse to deliver high-quality nursing care across various healthcare settings, including aged care, mental health, welfare, and community services. The role requires working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, ensuring the best possible patient outcomes

Task & responsibilities

Patient Care & Support

- Provide high-quality nursing care to elderly residents, ensuring their health and well-being.
- Assist residents with daily activities, including hygiene, mobility, dressing, and toileting.
- Administer prescribed medications safely and monitor their effects.
- Observe and report changes in residents' physical and mental health to the Registered Nurse or medical team.
- Support residents with chronic conditions, dementia, and palliative care needs.

Clinical Duties

- Perform wound care, catheter care, and other clinical procedures under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Assist with assessments, care planning, and implementation of individualized care plans.
- Monitor vital signs,



including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and oxygen levels.
- Collect specimens for diagnostic testing as required.
- Assist in emergency response situations and provide first aid when necessary.

Collaboration & Communication

- Work closely with Registered Nurses, doctors, allied health professionals, and carers to deliver holistic care.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and caregivers, ensuring their concerns and preferences are acknowledged.
- Document care activities, progress notes, and incident reports accurately in compliance with facility policies and regulations.

Aged Care Standards & Compliance

- Follow the Aged Care Quality Standards and Australian healthcare regulations.
- Maintain infection control and workplace safety protocols.
- Participate in accreditation audits, quality improvement programs, and staff training sessions.
- Resident Well-being & Support
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting a person-centred approach to care.
- Encourage residents’ participation in social and recreational activities to enhance their quality of life.
- Respect residents' rights, dignity, and cultural preferences.




- Training & Professional Development
- Stay updated with industry best practices, aged care policies, and clinical guidelines.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training sessions.
- Support and mentor junior staff and care workers as required

Qualification & experience
- Diploma of Nursing or Higher qualification
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- At least 12 months of full-time work experience or equivalent part time or casual basis in Aged
- Care or related healthcare field is required.
- Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009) certifications.
- Up-to-date COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations.
- Valid Australian driver’s licence and access to a reliable, registered vehicle.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong commitment to professional standards, confidentiality, and client safety.
