production processes and workshop requirements.

Task & responsibilities
- Fabricated, assembled, and welded aluminium components and structures according to engineering drawings.
- Measured, marked, cut, drilled, and fitted aluminum materials using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication machinery.
- Performed high-quality aluminum welding using MIG and TIG welding processes, ensuring strong, clean, and accurate welds that met industry standards and project requirements.
- Prepared aluminum surfaces by cleaning, grinding,



and beveling materials before welding.
- Carried out finishing tasks such as grinding, polishing, and deburring completed welds.
- Inspected fabricated products for dimensional accuracy, weld quality, and structural integrity, making any necessary repairs or adjustments.
- Operated and maintained welding and fabrication equipment.
- Followed workplace health and safety procedures and used appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintained a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Qualification & experience
- Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication Trade or appropriate trade welding qualification.
- Demonstrated experience in aluminium fabrication and welding.
- Able to interpret engineering drawings, welding specification and fabrication plan.
- Experience in measuring, drilling, fitting and grinding of aluminium, cutting, grinding and polishing of aluminium.
- Positive knowledge of welding equipment safety and use of appropriate PP.
