About the role: Newman-based. Monday to Friday, 10-hour days, home every night. No swings, no flights, no camp, no airport.

$60–70/hr depending on experience, plus penalties. First 3 months casual at the same rate, then permanent full time — your rate does not drop after probation.

Plus a house in Newman. We already rent it and it's available to whoever takes this role. No bond, no rental applications, no competing with the mining companies for a lease. Move in and start work.

Prefer your own place? Take a $500/week tax-free housing allowance instead!

This pays more long-term than most FIFO rates in the region, including our own. You're not taking a pay cut to stop flying.

Newman is a small town. You'll be the sparky, not one of twelve. No supervisor over your shoulder, no wholesaler around the corner — if you're missing a part, you're solving it. If you need constant direction or perfect conditions, this isn't the one.



If you like running your own day and want your weekends back, it's a good job and we intend to keep whoever takes it.

About you

- Unrestricted A Grade WA Electrical Licence

- Manual driver's licence

- WA White Card

- First Aid / CPR

- Low Voltage Rescue

- Working at Heights

- 3+ years post-apprenticeship experience

- Australian work rights

Nice to have: Cert II Split Air Conditioning and Heat Pump Systems, forklift ticket
