About the role

KAV Construction Group Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable and skilled Carpenter to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of carpentry and general construction tasks while maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

- Read and interpret building plans, drawings and specifications

- Measure, cut and install timber and other building materials

- Perform framing, formwork, roofing and general carpentry work

- Install doors, windows, skirting, architraves and other fixtures

- Construct and repair timber structures and components

- Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently

- Assist with general building and construction activities on site

- Ensure all work is completed accurately and to a high standard





- Follow workplace health and safety procedures and site requirements

- Maintain a clean, organised and protected work area

About you

- Previous carpentry or construction experience preferred

- Good knowledge of carpentry tools, materials and techniques

- Ability to read basic construction plans and measurements

- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship

- Good physical fitness and ability to work on construction sites

- Reliable, punctual and able to work well within a team

- Commitment to workplace health and safety

- Valid Australian work rights
