Quantum Diesel Engineering Services is a rapidly growing family-owned business specialising in engine and general machining for the Mining, Transport, Marine, and Power Generation industries. We are seeking a motivated Engine Machinist to join our team and contribute to our continued success.
- Crack testing, polishing and grinding crankshafts
- Cylinder head machining
- Cylinder block machining
- Conrod machining
- Completing job cards and reports as required
Requirements
- Qualification in Fitting and Turning or as an Engine Reconditioner
- Previous experience in a similar environment working with Cummins and Caterpillar products is considered advantageous
- High attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual,
and able to work independently
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Valid C Class Driver’s Licence
- Forklift licence (advantageous)
- Permanent work rights with no restrictions
