About the role

DTC INDUSTRIES is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a dynamic organisation in the Trades & Services sector, based in Bibra Lake, WA 6163. As an Electrician, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality electrical work and services, contributing to the success of our projects and the satisfaction of our clients. This position offers the chance to work on diverse electrical installations, maintenance and repairs whilst developing your expertise within a qualified and supportive team environment. We offer a broad range of services from, Air-conditioning, Domestic, commercial and Industries electrical as well as Security and Access control systems.

What you'll be doing

- Installing, maintaining and repairing electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures in accordance with relevant Australian electrical standards and codes

- Conducting diagnostic testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems to identify faults and implement appropriate solutions

- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, blueprints and technical specifications to ensure accurate installation and compliance

- Performing preventative maintenance on electrical systems to maximise efficiency and minimise downtime

- Ensuring all work is completed safely, on time and within budget, adhering to all workplace health and safety regulations

- Collaborating with other tradespeople, contractors and project managers to complete projects effectively

- Maintaining accurate records of work completed, materials used and time spent on each task





- Identifying potential electrical hazards and implementing corrective measures to protect personnel and assets

What we're looking for

- A valid electrical licence recognised in Western Australia (as a qualified electrician)

- Proven experience working as an Electrician in the residential, commercial or industrial sectors

- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards and regulations, including the Australian Standards for electrical installations

- Competency in the use of electrical testing equipment and diagnostic tools

- Excellent problem-solving abilities with the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team

- A commitment to workplace health and safety practices and procedures

- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work methodically on complex electrical tasks

- Valid driver's licence and reliable transport (desirable)

- Current First Aid certification (desirable)

- Reverse-cycle A/C and Evaporative A/C installation and repair (preferable)

- Experience with security systems such as Hikvision & Bosch (preferable)
