Are you someone who takes pride in maintaining clean, secure, and well-presented facilities? We are seeking a proactive and reliable Facilities Caretaker to join a high-performing team supporting a secure and critical operations environment.

This is a hands-on role responsible for ensuring the facility is maintained to the highest standards, helping deliver an exceptional experience for staff, visitors and clients while supporting the day-to-day operation of the site. Based on the nature of the facility, Australian Citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance are essential.

Responsibilities

Maintain excellent presentation standards across internal and external facilitiesConduct routine site inspections and report maintenance issues or defectsPerform cleaning duties across offices, meeting rooms, amenities and common areasMaintain kitchens and refreshment areas, including restocking consumablesSupport facility maintenance activities and liaise with contractorsAssist with deliveries, materials handling and dock managementMonitor waste management services and site housekeepingMaintain plant rooms,



switch rooms and other technical spacesReport incidents, hazards and safety concernsParticipate in workplace health and safety initiativesAssist with procurement of site supplies and consumablesSupport the broader operations team with facility-related requirements

Your Profile

Previous experience in facilities maintenance, caretaking, cleaning or building servicesStrong attention to detail and pride in delivering high standardsAbility to work independently and manage competing prioritiesSound understanding of safe manual handling practicesExperience using cleaning equipment and chemicals safelyStrong communication and teamwork skillsReliable, proactive and hands-on approach to work

Essential Requirements

- Australian Citizenship with the ability to obtain an NV1 Security Clearance
- Current White Card (Construction Industry Safety Induction)
- First Aid Certificate
- Asbestos Awareness Training (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening requirements
