Candidate Requirements

To be considered for suitable opportunities, candidates will generally demonstrate the following:

- Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)

- Valid Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)





- Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Framework (NQF)

- Relevant experience within an Early Childhood Education and Care setting

- Demonstrated leadership capability appropriate to role level (e.g. Lead Educator, Educational Leader, Assistant Director, or Centre Director)

- Strong qualified communication and interpersonal skills

- Capacity to lead, mentor, and support early childhood teams effectively

- Commitment to high-quality educational practice and continuous improvement

Desirable experience includes:

- Previous experience in Centre Director, Assistant Director, or Educational Leader roles

- Experience in service management, compliance, and quality improvement processes

- Participation in Assessment and Rating processes

- Knowledge of operational responsibilities, including staffing, enrolments, and centre performance, for senior leadership roles
