Estimator – Commercial Construction

About the Company

MYNT Recruitment is proud to partner with a highly regarded, design-led commercial construction company who work on projects between $10m-$100m.

Known for delivering award-winning complex commercial builds across sectors such as education, multi-resi, hospitality & healthcare.

With a strong pipeline of high-profile projects and continued growth, they are now seeking an Estimator to join their dynamic and collaborative team.

Your Role

As an Estimator, you'll take ownership of pricing accuracy and tender competitiveness across a diverse project pipeline. You'll be hands-on at every stage of the estimating cycle, from early budget numbers through to final submission, while flagging risks and opportunities that set the project team up for success.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Compile budget estimates, lump sum tenders and D&C; tenders from the ground up

- Assess and compare subcontractor and supplier pricing

- Carry out quantity take-offs and put together preliminaries

- Build out completed tenders and present them to management

- Hand tenders over to the project team post-award





- Bring a collaborative, solutions-driven mindset to the role

Skills & Experience

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

- A track record estimating commercial builds in the $10M+ range

- Solid grasp of construction methodology, building processes and cost structures

- Confidence with both first principles and elemental estimating

- Strong communication, interpersonal and decision-making abilities

- Working knowledge of OH&S; and quality systems

- A proactive, methodical and practical problem-solver
