Kitchen All-Rounder / Cook – Joey’s Swan Valley Diner

About the role:

Joey's Swan Valley Diner is looking for a confident and reliable Kitchen All-Rounder / Cook to join our team. You'll jump into a busy kitchen, work at a good pace and help consistently get outstanding food out to customers.

Key responsibilities

- Cooking burgers and other diner menu items

- Working the grill and fryers

- Assembling burgers and meals quickly and accurately

- Food preparation

- Keeping the kitchen clean and organised

- Assisting with front counter and customer service when required

- Taking and checking customer orders

- Working as part of a small, busy team

About you

- Has previous kitchen, café, takeaway or fast-food cooking experience

- Is confident working independently in the kitchen

- Works quickly and stays organised during busy periods

- Takes pride in getting orders right

- Is reliable,



punctual and has a good work ethic

- Has strong English communication skills for taking and confirming customer orders

- Is friendly and confident dealing with customers

- Has reliable transport to and from Swan Valley location

- Weekend availability is essential
