About the Role

As a result of continued growth, Sydney Tools is seeking a Power Tool Repairer to join our team in Smithfield.

We are looking for a hands-on technician with an electrical or mechanical background who thrives in a quick-paced setting. In this role, you will repair a range of leading brands including Makita, Milwaukee, Bosch, DeWalt, Hitachi, Yamaha, and Chicago, while liaising with both internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities
Liaise with internal and external customers
Maintain stock of parts
Diagnose and repair cordless, electric, and hydraulic power tools and equipment
Disassemble tools and use testing devices to identify faults
Interpret technical manuals to determine required replacement parts and reassemble tools according to manufacturer guidelines
Repair defective mechanical components and rewire electrical systems, including soldering and insulating wiring




Use computer systems to manage job tracking and reporting

About You
Previous experience in a similar role (preferred)
Demonstrated experience in power tool repair or small petrol engine repair
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Self-motivated with a solid work ethic
Ability to meet deadlines and work to timelines
Adaptable and able to respond to changing priorities
Competent computer skills
