Casual Housekeeper – Jeffery's Motel, Toowoomba

Jeffery's Motel is looking for a motivated Casual Housekeeper to join our friendly team at our 3.5-star property in Toowoomba.

About the Role
As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will ensure our guest rooms and common areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort.
Responsibilities:
Detailed cleaning and servicing of guest rooms, including stripping and making beds.
Dusting, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
Managing laundry and replenishing amenities.
Reporting any maintenance issues or defective fixtures to management.
Maintaining a tidy and organised workspace.
Schedule & Pay:
Casual role with shifts generally starting in the morning.
Versatile roster across 7 days, including some weekend work.
Competitive pay based on the Cleaning Services Award, which for a Level 1 casual employee starts around $32.31 per hour (including casual loading), with higher rates for Saturdays ($45.24), Sundays ($58.16),



and public holidays ($71.09).

What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in motel or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not essential.
Robust attention to detail and a "can-do" attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a small, supportive team.
Physical fitness to handle the hands-on nature of the role.
Reliable transportation to our location at 864 Ruthven Street, Toowoomba.
