About the role

KP FABRICATION & WELDING PTY LTD is seeking a skilled Welder / Fabricator to join our energetic team in Malaga, WA. KP Fabrication's work is 95% aluminum. We are very diverse in the work that we do, and it is all custom made to the client's specifications. There is no production line, so the applicant needs to be proficient in Fabrication as well as welding.

Key responsibilities
Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication
Weld Aluminum, MIG and TIG to a high standard
Collaborate with the team to ensure the timely completion of projects
Maintain a protected and organised work setting, adhering to all health and safety policies

About you
Tradesman Certificate 3 in heavy or light fabrication
Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role
Strong welding skills,



including proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and/or diagrams
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Current forklift license and experience in operating forklifts, Press Brake, Guillotine and other machinery
Strong work ethic and a commitment to following all safety procedures
