The role

Adbri currently has an opportunity for a multi-skilled Quarry Worker to join the team at our Hartley Quarry in New South Wales in a full time permanent role.

Our Quarry Workers operate a variety of mobile and fixed plant, including loaders, excavators, dozers, dump trucks both rigid and articulated as well as fixed and mobile crushing and screening plants.

Currently we are specifically seeking applications from Mobile Equipment Operators experienced in operating front end loaders, excavators, dump trucks, watercarts as well as experience with crushing and screening plants.

Responsibilities
Ensure safety, health and environment standards are maintained.
Operate mobile plant and equipment.
Undertake housekeeping and basic maintenance.
Occasional manual handling and general labouring

What you will need to succeed




Current RII competencies as well as certificate 3 or 4 in extractive industries will be highly regarded.
Understanding of fixed crushing and screening operations
Current drivers’ licence
Demonstrated experience operating mobile plant and equipment in a quarry or mine
Strong mechanical aptitude
Strong commitment to health and safety
Work in a team setting
