About the role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Joinery Estimator to join our team. This is an excellent chance for someone with a robust understanding of the Commercial Joinery Industry who can accurately estimate projects from drawings, specifications and schedules. Working closely with our project management, drafting and production teams, you will play a key role in preparing competitive and accurate quotations while ensuring projects are commercially viable.

Key responsibilities
Review architectural drawings, specifications and project documentation
Prepare accurate estimates and detailed quotations for joinery projects
Take off quantities and calculate materials, labour, hardware and installation costs
Obtain and compare supplier and subcontractor pricing
Identify project requirements, variations, exclusions and potential risks
Liaise with suppliers, clients, builders and internal teams as required




Assist with tender submissions and pricing negotiations
Maintain accurate estimating records and project pricing information
Ensure estimates are completed within required deadlines
Work with the production and project teams to ensure a smooth transition from estimating to manufacture

About you
Proven experience in AutoCAD, Advance Excel, Foxel PDF Reader, Outlook
Cabinet making experience or robust knowledge of cabinetry construction
Ability to produce high-quality Documents/Drawings
Strong understanding of architectural plans and construction drawings
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Good client communication and liaison skills
Strong computer skills
Reliable, punctual and possess a strong work ethic
