Optimum Health General Practice is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Registered Nurse to join our team in the role of Practice Nurse.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a team-oriented environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centred care

Qualifications

Fully registered nurse with AHPRA

Insured for own practice indemnity, Current CPR Certificate and Working with Children's Check

Immunisation for registered nurses' certificate / knowledge of childhood vaccination, catch up vaccination, travel vaccination

Essential criteria/Job Responsibilities

Use Best Practice software

Health assessments/Care plans/GPCCMP/MHCC

Treatment Room Management

Childhood and Travel immunisations

Daily stock count and supply replenishment

General admin clinic duties

Spirometry test

ECG

Triaging of patients

Understanding cold chain





Wound management and Dressings

Undertake ear syringing

Assisting with minor surgery

Skin clinic experience highly desirable

Excellent communication skills

A caring and cooperative approach to patient care

A sense of urgency, compassion and professionalism

Proven multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills

Courteous and well-groomed with a qualified manner

Hours:

Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm
