A bit about us:

Royal Hotels Group is a family run and operated business, creating the ultimate community pubs. RHG’s aspire to create venues where people come together for good times, outstanding food, delicious beverages, to celebrate significant moments and everything else in between. We own and operate the iconic Royal Oak Hotel in Double Bay, Gregory Hills Hotel in Gregory Hills, and our newest acquisition was Moss Vale Hotel down in the beautiful Southern Highlands.

We are looking for full-time Cooks.

Key responsibilities include:
Ensure every meal served is of consistent and high quality and is prepared to Royal Hotel Groups specific recipes
Implement and adhere to directives from the kitchen management team
Effectively and efficiently manage your section and staff – mise-en-place, ordering and cleanliness
Provide support and training to junior Cooks and kitchen hands, working always as a team
Ensure a safe working workplace and adheres to WH&S; and Food Safety legislation and compliance requirements.
Adhere to all Royal Hotel Groups policies and procedures




Maintain and exceed industry standards in all areas of food service and experience.
Attend and actively participate in kitchen meetings.

What we are looking for in our candidates:
Relevant Qualifications - Commercial Cookery
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
Experience with coaching and mentoring junior staff
Have the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a quick-paced environment
A passion for excellent quality food, produce and service
Be reliable, punctual and hard workings
Have strong communication skills
Be able to maintain kitchen procedures and WHS standards
Have sound knowledge of food, health & safety
Available to work a mix of weekends & nights
Have Australian working rights
Able to work Full time - 38hrs/week

Salary from $79,500 - $82,500 per year, depending on experience.
