The Athenaeum Club, one of Melbourne's most prestigious establishments, is seeking a casual Housekeeping Attendant to join the team.

You will be responsible for cleaning the Club 's public areas, function rooms and restaurants, and the member accommodation rooms ensuring they are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation. You will also assist in the laundry by sorting linen and restaurant linen for collection and washing, drying and folding towels for the gym and pool, ensuring all the Club's linen needs are met. Whilst housekeeping will be your main focus there will be scope and training opportunities that will provide you with the skills to assist and support other areas of the Club on a needs basis.

The successful candidate will
Have excellent organisational and time management skills
Have the ability to work flexible hours
Work well in a team setting and independently with minimal supervision
Perform all duties with a keen eye for detail, accuracy and speed
Speak English fluently and have excellent communication skills
Be in good health and physically fit to meet the needs of the role

This is a casual role,



we are looking for positive availability across 7 days. The number of shifts will depend on the occupancy rate, there could be 4 shifts one week and then 1 the next.

Previous experience in housekeeping in a 4 - 5 star hotel or club is required.
