This is a chance to own the land strategy for a utility scale solar and battery storage pipeline in Queensland, not just administer agreements someone else has negotiated. You will sit between the development and grid teams, shaping where projects go based on connection capacity and planning feasibility, then securing the sites yourself. The business is early enough in its Australian growth that the sites you bring in become the pipeline.
What you will do
Identify and secure land for solar, hybrid and standalone BESS projects
Run desktop searches to shortlist viable sites within target connection zones
Negotiate option to lease deeds and land agreements through to execution
Build and hold long term landowner relationships across the portfolio
Work with the grid and development teams to narrow zoning against connectivity
Support site due diligence on secured properties ahead of financial close
What you need
5+ years securing land agreements, leases, purchases or easements
Experience negotiating directly with landowners
Willingness to travel to regional project sites
Current Australian driver licence
Google Earth Pro and Microsoft Office proficiency
