The Organisation:
Large Federal Government Department.

The Role:
This EL1 role is available via a permanent S26 transfer or an initial 12 months non-ongoing contract. This is a role where you will drive performance and lead a large team of operational staff.

The AR side involves collections from internal staff and is relatively autonomous in nature. The treasury component of the role will be your main focus. You will be responsible for the strategic cashflow management of the department. The challenge being the energetic nature of the department with multiple accounts and multiple projects and programs and other variables that need to be managed.

You will be less hands on this role,



you will be driving the performance of the teams and investing time into business improvement activities to drive efficiencies and cost savings where possible.

Your Skills and Experience:
You must be able to demonstrate previous experience of working in a agile financial operations area at a leadership level, ideally EL1.

You must have a current security clearance – Baseline minimum – and therefore be an Australian Citizen. A positive understanding of the PGPA or other similar compliance frameworks is important for success in this role.
