HEAD CHEF – FULL TIME

We are looking for an experienced, passionate and organised Head Chef to lead our kitchen team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high food standards, managing kitchen operations, controlling food and labour costs, and developing a strong and professional kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the kitchen team across daily service
Maintain consistently high standards of food quality, presentation and portion control
Manage kitchen preparation and ensure smooth service during busy periods
Develop and improve menu items, specials and seasonal dishes
Manage food costs, wastage and stock levels
Complete ordering and maintain good relationships with suppliers
Prepare staff rosters and assist with labour-cost management
Train, supervise and develop chefs and kitchen staff
Maintain food-safety, hygiene and cleaning standards
Ensure correct food storage, labelling and FIFO procedures
Work closely with restaurant management and front-of-house staff
Maintain kitchen equipment and report maintenance issues
Take responsibility for kitchen performance and solve problems quickly and professionally





What We Are Looking For
Previous experience as a Head Chef, Sous Chef or Senior Chef in a busy restaurant
Strong leadership and team-management skills
Excellent knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety
Strong understanding of food cost, labour cost, ordering and stock control
Ability to work efficiently under pressure
Valuable communication and organisational skills
Creative approach to menu development
Reliable, professional and hands-on leadership style
Ability to maintain consistency across every service
