ESTIMATOR

Aluminium Fabrication company is seeking an experienced and motivated Estimator to join our growing team.

About the Role

As our Estimator, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and profitability of our projects by preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions. This is a full-time position based in our office in Buddina, QLD 4575 .

Key Responsibilities
Accurate Estimating: Develop accurate cost estimates for glass and metal projects, considering labour, materials, and equipment.
Tender Preparation: Craft compelling tender documents, including specifications, drawings, and pricing schedules.
Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, overseas subcontractors, engineers to ensure project success.

About You




Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry, with a focus on metal fabrication.
Solid understanding of construction principles, materials, and labour costs
Proficiency in CAD software and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Robust attention to detail and accuracy
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines
Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
