Forklift Driver - Docks

About the Role

Zoom Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Forklift Driver to join our team and work within a busy docks environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a safety-focused and reliable forklift operator who is confident working in a fast-paced warehouse or dock setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving, loading and unloading products and materials while supporting the wider warehouse team.

Key Responsibilities
Safely and efficiently operate forklifts within the docks area.
Load and unload materials and products in accordance with workplace procedures.
Follow all site safety policies, procedures and operational requirements.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth and effective operations.
Complete routine forklift safety and maintenance checks and promptly report any faults or issues.
Assist with general warehouse and dock duties when required.
Maintain a clean, organised and safe work setting.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:
A current and valid Australian Forklift Licence.
A minimum of 8 months' forklift operating experience,



preferably within a warehouse or dock environment.
The ability to provide a recent Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check.
Experience operating forklifts with rotating tynes is advantageous but not essential.
A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
The ability to follow instructions, procedures and safety requirements.
A reliable, professional and positive approach to work.
A commitment to diversity, equality and inclusion in the workplace.

Pre-Employment Requirements

The successful applicant will be required to complete a pre-employment medical assessment, including Drug & Alcohol Screening, as well as a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check, prior to placement.

Please note: Only applicants who meet the above criteria and have Australian citizenship or unrestricted working rights in Australia will be considered for this position.
