SCIS Group is a specialist maintenance company trusted by leading Government and Commercial clients across Australia. We’re looking for a motivated Grounds Maintenance Technician to join our Newcastle team. This is your chance to step into a secure, full time role where no two days are the same, and your skills are genuinely appreciated.

What You’ll Be Doing
Mow, edge, and trim lawns to maintain a tidy and well-manicured appearance
Prune and shape shrubs, hedges, and trees to ensure neatness and plant health
Weed, mulch, and prepare garden beds for planting
Blow and clear leaves, clippings, and debris from walkways and driveways
Plant and care for a variety of gardens and landscapes
Undertake weeding and apply herbicides in line with safety guidelines
Prepare, clean, and maintain all equipment to ensure reliable performance
Perform general garden maintenance tasks as required

About You

You take pride in your work, enjoy variety, and have a practical, hands-on approach.
Previous experience in lawn and garden maintenance
Horticulture Certificate (preferred but not essential)
Current C Class Driver’s Licence
Ability to complete a Police Check and Pre-employment Medical (arranged for you)
