Job Description

Location: This role can be based in Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne,

As a Senior Advisor, you will work closely with clients and senior team members to deliver high-quality tax and business advisory services to China-connected businesses.

Key Responsibilities
Support the delivery of tax and business advisory services for China-connected clients, including private businesses, family groups and foreign-invested enterprises
Assist in the preparation of tax returns, financial statements, tax provisions and other compliance obligations
Conduct technical research and assist in preparing advice on Australian tax and cross-border business matters
Work closely with Managers and senior team members to deliver high-quality client outcomes
Assist with client communications and respond to queries in a timely and skilled manner
Coordinate engagement activities, monitor deadlines and maintain project documentation
Collaborate with specialists across KPMG Australia, China and the global network to support client engagements
Contribute to the preparation of proposals, presentations and other business development materials




Maintain a strong understanding of tax legislation and regulatory developments relevant to China-connected businesses
Support continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing across the team

How Are You Extraordinary?
Experience working with China-connected clients or cross-border business environments is highly regarded
Fluency in Mandarin (spoken and/or written) is highly regarded

Sound understanding of Australian tax and compliance requirements

Ability to build effective working relationships and contribute positively to a team workplace
