Rate: $64.65 per hour (inclusive allowances) + Super

About the Role:

We’re looking for a hands-on Yard Person (Leading Hand) to join our small team in Karratha, supporting the maintenance, repair, and preparation of modular buildings for hire.

What you'll be Doing:
Complete repairs, maintenance & upgrades on our hire fleet including damaged wall panels, doors, windows, flooring, roofing, and fixtures.
Operate forklift to load/unload modules and equipment
Inspect, clean & prep buildings so they're ready to go back out for hire
Help coordinate deliveries, pickups, and yard movements
Keep records up to date, accurate and support with stocktakes
Handle customer handovers and queries
Support the Operations Manager to lead the yard crew day-to-day

About You:




Current driver’s licence
Current Forklift (High Risk) Licence
Solid hands-on maintenance and repair skills
Experience using hand and power tools
Basic computer skills
Background in construction, building, or hire yard work preferred
A local Karratha resident (or willing to relocate) with full working rights
A trade qualification in Carpentry, Cabinet Making, or Joinery is desirable but not essential.
