Apex are currently seeking experienced Dogmen for a number of long-term construction projects across Perth.
These roles offer consistent hours, competitive rates and ongoing work, with Monday to Friday hours plus regular Saturday work available.
The Role You will be working alongside tower crane operators and site teams on busy construction projects, assisting with the protected movement and placement of loads across site.
Duties will include:
Dogging for tower crane operations
Slinging, securing and directing loads
Selecting and inspecting appropriate lifting and rigging equipment
Communicating with crane operators via radio and hand signals
Guiding and positioning loads safely around site
Loading and unloading materials and equipment
Establishing and maintaining safe lifting zones
Conducting pre-start checks on lifting equipment
Assisting with general site duties when required
Following site lifting plans, SWMS and safety procedures
What You'll Need
Current High Risk Work Licence – DG (Dogging)
Previous experience dogging for tower cranes
Construction White Card
Robust understanding of lifting procedures and site safety
Confident radio communication and hand signalling
Ability to work Monday to Friday with Saturday availability
Reliable transport and a strong work ethic
