Mechanical Fitter / Welder - Afternoon Shift | Wetherill Park
Location: Wetherill Park, NSW
Shift: Monday to Friday | 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
Duration: 3-month contract with the prospect to transition to a permanent position
Our client is seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter with welding skills to join their maintenance team based in Wetherill Park. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable tradesperson looking for a stable afternoon shift with long-term potential.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out mechanical fitting and maintenance activities
Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults
Work on hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Complete welding and fabrication tasks as required
Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
To Be Successful You Will Have
Mechanical fitting experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment
Welding experience
Solid maintenance and fault-finding/troubleshooting skills
Experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Excellent communication skills
A reliable work ethic and strong attendance record
Desirable (but not essential)
Limited Electrical Licence
