ICT Business Consultant/Project Manager

A government authority is seeking an experienced Business Consultant/Project Manager to support the development and refinement of business cases for a program of approved ICT projects including digital signage, network upgrades, and more.

This is a excellent prospect for someone who enjoys working closely with stakeholders to turn early-stage proposals into clear, well-validated plans ready for investment decisions.

This is a part time role (3 days per week) for an initial 3 months ideal for an experienced contractor or consultant looking for a versatile, high-impact assignment.

About You
We're looking for someone with;
Proven experience developing or refining ICT business cases
Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills
Experience validating project scope, costs, advantages, and resourcing
Ability to build high-level project schedules and delivery plans




Strong risk assessment and problem-solving skills
Comfortable working across multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities

What You'll Deliver
Facilitate workshops with project sponsors and stakeholders to validate objectives, assumptions, and scope
Review and refine business cases using standard templates and forms
Validate project scope, costs, benefits, and resource requirements
Develop high-level project schedules, including milestones and dependencies
Prepare project readiness and risk assessments, with recommended next steps
