Coober Pedy Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department on a six-week contract from September through October 2026. Based in Coober Pedy, South Australia, this full time position offers the prospect to deliver emergency care in a rural and remote setting. Working on a rotating Saturday-Friday roster at 76 hours per fortnight, the successful candidate will earn between AUD71.54 and AUD92.71 per hour, bringing their clinical expertise to a dynamic acute and triage environment.

Preferred Requirements




Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Experience working in emergency or acute care settings
Ability to work effectively on a rotating roster, including weekends
Robust clinical assessment and triage skills in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to work flexibly across different areas of the facility based on operational needs

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification or willingness to obtain
Experience in rural or remote healthcare settings is advantageous
