About the role

We are a general practice seeking a compassionate, skilled and reliable Practice Nurse to join our supportive and patient-focused team.

This is a casual position, working Fridays from 9:00am to 5:00pm (8 hours per week), with additional hours available to provide annual leave and sick leave cover.

Key responsibilities:
Assist GPs with patient care and clinical procedures
Perform health assessments, care plans and chronic disease management activities
Administer vaccinations and support immunisation programs
Conduct wound care, ECGs and other nursing procedures as required
Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation
Manage recalls, reminders and preventative health activities
Support infection control and accreditation requirements
Work collaboratively with doctors, reception staff and other healthcare specialists to provide high-quality patient care About the practice

Experience and qualifications required

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

Friendly, caring and skilled with a patient-centred approach

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Reliable, adaptable and committed to delivering quality healthcare
