Our company is an independent construction consultancy and advisory firm based in Canberra ACT, with operations extending to Brisbane QLD. We provide end-to-end guidance for commercial property projects, serving owners, tenants, investors and government clients through every stage of the building lifecycle. We are currently seeking a detail-driven and commercially minded Contract Administrator to join our growing team.
Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and verify contract documents, ensuring accuracy and resolving any discrepancies in line with company policies and guidelines.
Liaise between parties regarding contract development and negotiations regarding terms and conditions, and revise changes as required.
Oversee every stage of the contract lifecycle, from initial setup to renewals, ensuring all actions are completed on schedule and in compliance with regulations.
Monitor performance against contractual terms,
detect potential issues, and take proactive steps to minimise risks.
Attend regular in office and internal project meetings to confirm that all contractual commitments are being fulfilled.
Maintain comprehensive records of all contract-related correspondence and decisions.
Establish contract management system, sort out, file and keep contracts under classification.
Skills and Qualification:
Tertiary Education in law, business, construction or similar major
Proven experience as a Contract Administrator or similar role, at least 3 years
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
Sound understanding of construction contracts and contract administration principles
