Reporting directly to the Project Delivery Superintendent, you will lead assigned projects from concept through to execution, ensuring outcomes are achieved safely, efficiently, and in line with APO's project management systems and business objectives.What You'll Do:Lead and manage assigned sustaining capital projects across scope, schedule, cost, quality, and safety requirementsLiaise with stakeholders to define user requirements, validate project concept, and develop a preliminary scopeDevelop justifications and capital project applicationsCoordinate and influence internal and external project teams, contractors,



and stakeholdersDevelop and maintain project delivery plans, forecasts, budgets, and reporting requirementsIdentify and manage project risks, critical issues, and change management processesSupport contractor management, procurement activities, and commercial engagementsApply technical and project management expertise to support investigation, design, and construction activitiesContribute to the ongoing development and improvement of APO's Project Works ProgramWhat We're Looking For:A Project Manager to lead sustaining capital projects up to $10M from concept to deliveryDemonstrated experience delivering sustaining capital projects within industrial, mining, ports, heavy industry, or similar environmentsStrong project management capability with the ability to manage competing priorities and stakeholdersExperience leading multidisciplinary teams and contractors to achieve project outcomesSound understanding of project management systems, budgeting, risk management, and reportingStrong communication, technical written and stakeholder engagement skillsRelevant trade or related tertiary qualification supported with project management experienceWhy Join Us?
