Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and reliable Field Service Refrigeration Technician to join our Brisbane-based service team.This is a varied role involving servicing and repairs at customer sites, with workshop-based duties required when needed.About the RoleYou will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, repairing and modifying a broad range of commercial refrigeration and hospitality equipment, including:Commercial refrigeratorsCommercial freezersCake and food display unitsBain-mariesCoolroomsOther commercial foodservice equipmentThe role will primarily involve travelling to customer sites throughout Brisbane and surrounding areas.
You will also complete repairs, testing,



equipment preparation and other service work in our workshop as required.Key responsibilities include:Attending customer sites to diagnose and repair equipmentCarrying out preventative maintenance and scheduled servicingIdentifying faults and recommending suitable repair solutionsReplacing components and completing equipment modificationsTesting equipment to ensure safe and reliable operationAccurately recording completed work, parts used and service findingsProviding professional and courteous service to customersAssisting with workshop repairs and equipment preparation when requiredWhat You Will NeedTo be successful in this position, you will have:Previous experience as a Refrigeration TechnicianA current Refrigerant Handling LicenceA current Australian driver's licenceStrong fault-finding and diagnostic skillsExperience working with commercial refrigeration equipmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsA professional and customer-focused approachThe ability to work independently and as part of a teamStrong attention to detail and pride in your workmanshipA reliable, organised and solutions-focused attitudeA willingness to learn and develop your technical knowledgeA current electrical licence will be highly regarded.Why Join Federal Hospitality Equipment?
