You'll be responsible for preventative and breakdown maintenance on plastic blow moulding and injection moulding equipment, ensuring production runs efficiently.
The position commences on a casual basis, with the opportunity to transition to a permanent full-time role upon successful performance and completion of qualifying hours.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative, scheduled, and breakdown maintenance.Diagnose and repair mechanical faults to minimise downtime.Service and replace mechanical components, including bearings, gearboxes, motors, and conveyors.Carry out mechanical fitting, alignment,



and equipment adjustments.Inspect machinery and recommend reliability improvements.Respond promptly to production breakdowns.Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and commissioning.Work safely in line with site procedures and food manufacturing standards.Collaborate with production and maintenance teams.Participate in toolbox talks and continuous improvement initiatives.What We're Looking ForCertificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (or equivalent).
Minimum 1–2 years' maintenance fitting experience in manufacturing.Strong mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.Experience in maintaining industrial production machinery.Commitment to quality workmanship and workplace safety.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Highly RegardedExperience with plastic blow moulding or injection moulding machineryPneumatic and hydraulic system experienceExposure to robotic or automated production equipmentMIG, TIG, or Arc welding skillsExperience in food manufacturing or packaging environmentsPlease note that only qualified candidates will be contacted
