Being the peak industry body within Australia, we also provide support, education, training, and legal advice through our other businesses to meet the needs of our members.Primarily, our goal is tolift the standards of the Electrotechnology industry, provide a voice and lobby for the rights and interests of our members, while delivering critical information to ensure that our members remain in front of changes that may affect the Industry.ABOUT THE ROLEThis role is primarily responsible for financial month end reporting, cashflow management and tax reporting.
Other responsibilities include supporting the Group Financial Controller with business process improvements and systems upgrade and other finance related tasks.This is a full time role, 38 hours per week and is based in Chullora NSW.




This role offers two working from home days upon successful completion of training.RESPONSIBILITIESPreparation of Monthly and other periodic financial reports including variance reporting that are timely and accurate.Preparation of Annual Budget and forecastingPreparation of the Financial Performance Board papersPreparation and presentation of finances for financial auditsPreparation of Year End Audit fileResponsible for general ledger reconciliationsMonth end general ledger journalsMonth end Fixed Assets and Lease LiabilitiesCashflow reportingBAS, GST, FBT and other tax obligationsProvide support to the finance teamEnsure reported results comply with Australian accounting principles and reporting standards.Bonus calculationsCRITERIAThe ability to work independentlyThe ability to perform end task in an accurate and timely mannerExcellent prioritisation and coordination skills with the ability to meet competing deadlinesExcellent written and oral communication skillsWork cooperatively with others and model and promote team player behaviourDemonstrated skill in working as part of a team, fostering good client relations and working with people from diverse backgroundsAbility to deal with difficult clientsDiscretion and confidentialityExperience working with NAV would be advantageousWHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
