About the roleThe Functions, Events & Guest Experience Manager is responsible for driving functions and events revenue while ensuring an exceptional and consistent guest experience across Comuna Cantina.
The role combines sales, event coordination, guest engagement, reputation management and service quality, working closely with Venue Managers, Restaurant Managers, kitchen teams and the broader operations team.Key responsibilities:Manage incoming function, group booking and event enquiries across Comuna CantinaRespond to enquiries promptly and professionally, understanding client requirements including occasion, guest numbers, budget, food, beverage and entertainmentPrepare function proposals, packages and tailored event optionsConduct venue inspections and meetings with prospective clients where requiredFollow up enquiries and actively work to convert leads into confirmed bookingsDevelop relationships with corporate clients, event organisers, local businesses and repeat function customersDrive functions and events revenue and work towards agreed sales and conversion targetsCoordinate all requirements between the client and venue prior to the event,



including menus, beverage packages, dietary requirements, timings, layouts and special requestsMonitor guest feedback across relevant channels and coordinate responses to guest complaintsReview and continuously improve the guest experience from reservation through departure and post-visit engagementAbout you:Experience in event coordination, functions management, or hospitality salesStrong sales and negotiation skills with the ability to convert leads into confirmed bookingsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple events and enquiries simultaneouslyProficiency in managing guest feedback and complaint resolutionExperience with reservation systems and event management toolsAbility to work collaboratively across multiple teams including kitchen, restaurant and operationsStrong organisational and attention to detailThe good stuff / What we can offer you:Full-time position in a company that prides itself on growth and trainingOpportunities for career development.
