We are proud of a culture built on respect, accountability and compassion, where every team member contributes to creating environments where residents feel valued, supported and at home.Why You'll Love This Role:Work closely with Executive leaders and contribute to organisation wide governance initiativesPlay a key role in supporting risk management, compliance, quality and continuous improvement across MACGMeaningful work that improves the quality, safety and wellbeing of residentsCollaborative and values driven culture where your expertise is respectedExposure to enterprise risk, regulatory reform, provider registration and governance projectsOpportunity to develop your governance and leadership capability within a growing organisationCompetitive remuneration aligned with your experienceAbout the Role: Reporting to the General Manager Risk & Governance, you will support the delivery of MACG's enterprise governance, risk, compliance and quality assurance framework.Working closely with operational, clinical and executive leaders, you will help ensure MACG meets its regulatory obligations under the Aged Care Act **** while supporting continuous improvement, audit readiness and effective governance systems across the organisation.This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced governance, quality, compliance or risk qualified seeking a hands on role with broad organisational exposure and the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to aged care outcomes.Key Responsibilities:Manage the Compliance Obligations Register and regulatory submissions calendar, including CDET,
AECT and provider re-registration requirementsCoordinate and deliver internal audit activities and track findings through to completionMonitor compliance performance, NQIP data, SIRS reporting and incident trendsPrepare governance reports, dashboards, briefing papers and committee reportingSupport policy governance, document control and review schedulesAssist with accreditation readiness, Commission audits, monitoring visits and regulatory reviewsCoordinate evidence collection and support organisational responses to regulatory requests and enquiriesTravel to MACG services to support operational teams and governance initiatives as required.What We Offer:Competitive salary package $130,*********,000 + travel allowance5 weeks annual leave with leave loadingTravel allowanceEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Supportive leadership teamStable and growing organisationAbout You: You are a confident and collaborative leader who enjoys building relationships and translating complex legislation into practical business outcomes.
You'll bring:Minimum 5 years' experience in aged care, health, compliance, governance, quality or risk managementDemonstrated experience interpreting and applying aged care legislation and standards, including managing regulatory audits and compliance reviewsSound knowledge of the Aged Care Act ****, Aged Care Rules ****, Strengthened Quality Standards, SIRS and NQIPStrong analytical capability and excellent written communication skillsProfessional judgement, integrity and a commitment to resident centred careEssential Qualifications:Degree qualification in Nursing, Health Management, Governance, Risk Management, Business or a related discipline (Required)Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Required)Current National Police Check Report (Employment) (Required)Current Driver Licence (Required)Our Values:At MACG, our values guide everything we do:Compassion | Integrity | Dignity | Diversity | Accountability | Family | Respect
