We're committed to high-quality, evidence-based care and team-oriented treatment plans, and our team works in a professional, supportive environment focused on excellence in patient outcomes and service.About the RoleThis full-time, on-site Operations Manager role oversees the day-to-day running of the clinic — appointment scheduling, patient flow, and coordination between clinical and administrative teams — to keep service delivery smooth and consistent.Monitor performance metrics, manage budgets, and support compliance with healthcare regulationsLead process improvements and implement new technologies to enhance efficiency and patient experienceSupervise administrative staff and manage rostersManage relationships with vendors and suppliers, private health funds, hospitals,
and external allied health providersMaintain clinic policies and proceduresPrepare reporting for business meetings, and work closely with surgeons and practice leadership on strategic initiatives and quality improvementRecruit, onboard, and train new administrative and support staffOversee workplace health and safety (WHS), incident reporting, and risk managementWork closely with our Marketing and Events Manager to support marketing, community engagement, and referrer/GP relationship activities to grow the practiceOversee facilities, equipment, and IT systems to ensure the clinic is well-maintained and fully operationalContribute to business planning, forecasting, and negotiation of supplier and service contractsWhat We're Looking ForProven experience in operations management, preferably in healthcare, medical practice, or allied health settingsStrong skills in workflow optimisation, process improvement, and resource planningDemonstrated people management, including team leadership, performance management, and staff developmentCompetence in budgeting, financial monitoring, and basic practice administrationExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across clinical and administrative teamsProficiency with practice management softwareSound understanding of patient confidentiality, healthcare regulations, and quality and safety standardsRelevant tertiary qualification in business, health administration, management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Strong problem-solving, organisational, and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritise competing demandsExperience in an orthopaedic or specialist medical environment is beneficial but not required
