You'll work closely with retail operations, store technology, vendors and internal technology teams to support the systems that power our stores - including point of sale, mobile retail apps, new store openings and major business transformation initiatives.Real retail impact - work on systems used every day across MECCA's store networkMajor project exposure - contribute to ERP, Distribution Center and retail technology initiativesHands-on variety - a blend of product ownership, business analysis, continuous improvement and operational supportBroad stakeholder visibility - partner with Retail Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Core Applications and store technology teamsFast-paced growth - join a business opening new stores, evolving its technology landscape and moving quicklyKey responsibilities include:Owning and prioritising the Retail Services technology backlog in JiraGathering requirements, breaking down work and translating business needs into clear delivery outcomesActing as the link between retail stakeholders, internal technology teams and external vendorsSupporting POS, mobile POS and related store technology improvementsManaging multiple initiatives at once across BAU, continuous improvement and larger project workSupporting change governance, documentation and CAB processes for releases and enhancementsWorking with store and retail operations teams to test changes, gather feedback and validate solutions in real retail environmentsProviding level-three escalation support for retail technology issues where requiredWhat You Will BringBackground as a Technology Product Owner, Business Analyst, Functional Analyst or similarStrong business analysis capability - requirements gathering, stakeholder management,



process mapping and delivery supportExperience working in retail, store technology, POS, digital, operations or another fast-paced customer-facing environmentConfidence working with vendors and internal technology teams to shape practical outcomesAbility to juggle multiple priorities, projects and support requests without losing momentumComfortable working in Jira and documenting decisions, requirements and changes in Confluence or similarStrong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiencesNice to have:Point of sale experience, mobile retail app exposure, Retail Directions experience, or experience supporting technology across a large store network.No Retail Directions experience?
No problem - if you understand retail systems, POS fundamentals and how stores operate, you'll be able to pick up the platform.This is a Hybrid, 4 days in office role based in Richmond and is offered as a 13 month fixed-term contract.
