You'll coordinate maintenance schedules, repairs, inspections, equipment movements and mobilisation requirements while helping minimise downtime and keep our operations running efficiently.This is a hands-on coordination role with real ownership and accountability.
While the position has no direct reports, you will need the confidence to engage with stakeholders across the business, follow up outstanding actions and ensure maintenance and compliance requirements are completed.We're looking for someone with a maintenance planning and trade background who understands plant and equipment, preventative maintenance and the importance of having safe, compliant and reliable assets ready when they are needed.You'll make an impact by:Coordinating the availability, allocation and movement of fleet, plant and equipment across M2P's projects and operational areasPlanning and coordinating preventative maintenance,



servicing, repairs and inspectionsMonitoring maintenance schedules and following up outstanding work to minimise downtimeRaising and managing work orders through to completionLiaising with Project Managers and Operations Managers to understand upcoming asset requirementsCoordinating fleet and equipment mobilisation, commissioning, transfers and demobilisationWorking with mechanics, suppliers and external service providers to arrange maintenance and repairsCoordinating critical spare parts and consumable requirements to minimise equipment downtimeMaintaining accurate asset registers, maintenance records and supporting documentationMonitoring fleet and equipment utilisation, compliance, downtime and maintenance costsCoordinating the procurement, collection and delivery of parts, vehicles and equipment as requiredSupporting the procurement and onboarding of current fleet and assetsEnsuring servicing, inspection and compliance records remain current and audit-readySupporting compliance with relevant safety, NHVAS and Chain of Responsibility requirementsIdentifying opportunities to improve asset reliability, maintenance planning and fleet utilisationWhat you'll bringTo succeed in this role, you will have:Previous experience in maintenance planning, asset coordination, fleet management or a similar roleA relevant mechanical or trade backgroundPractical knowledge of preventative maintenance, fabrication workshop equipment, heavy vehicles, mobile plant and assetsExperience coordinating servicing, repairs and inspectionsStrong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing operational prioritiesConfidence working with Project Managers, Operations Managers, tradespeople, suppliers and external providersStrong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate recordsA proactive,



solutions-focused approach and willingness to take ownershipStrong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and OutlookThe ability to work independently while contributing to a broader operational teamIdeally, you will also have:Experience within mining, construction, engineering, transport or heavy industryExposure to fleet or asset management systemsExperience using IVMS, ERP or asset management software would be highly regardedKnowledge of NHVAS, Chain of Responsibility and fleet compliance requirementsA current Australian driver's licenceAvailability to work Monday to Friday from our Salisbury workshopWhy M2P Engineering?
