Our compassionate team works closely with residents to understand their individual care needs, tailor support to ensure comfort, and arrange engaging activities that are meaningful and enjoyable.Position OverviewAs a Household Dining Assistant, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming, clean and comfortable environment for our residents.
Working across Kitchen, Cleaning and Laundry services, you'll support meal preparation and service, maintain clean, and inviting living and dining spaces, and assist with residents' laundry needs.
This resident-focused role helps promote choice, dignity, independence, and wellbeing while delivering high-quality services across the home.Qualifications & ExperienceFood safety supervisor certification (desirable, not mandatory)Previous experience in aged care is a bonusKnowledge of safe food handling practices and a passion for preparing quality nutritious mealsFamiliarity with aged care dietary requirements and food safety standards (desirable, not mandatory)You're empathetic, adaptable, and resourceful, with a commitment to delivering excellent service.Work in line with Uniting's core values of compassion, respect, boldness, and creativity.Benefits for you!
