In our CFCs - together with the proprietary software applications - we operate a world-class online grocery business that automates the single pick of products, ready for your online delivery via our local partner Coles.About the Role:Join the team to support our Customer Fulfilment Centre in Wetherill Park, NSW, Australia.Service Technicians play an key part in supporting the operation in our state of the art, automated Customer Fulfilment Centre, providing 1st response to engineering faultconditions, reactive and planned maintenance activities as well as proactive improvement works.
The role is a shift position that will require working days, nights and weekends.
Flexibility in working hours is also necessary to support Ocado's 24/7 operation.The day to day for a Service Technician may involve:Carrying out planned maintenance across the site in an accurate, timely and safe manner ensuring maintenance procedures are followedUpdate records of work activities, tasks carried out, parts used through stores and training givenWork closely with manufacturers, suppliers and internal departments in finding ways to improve process and increase machine reliability and performanceRespond to and diagnose equipment breakdowns,



resolving issues and action repairsAnalyse data to find solutions to improve MHE performance, providing reports where necessaryComplete quality inspections to ensure work is completed to a safe standardWork to and follow Health and Safety policies including those set by Ocado, Coles and Australian regulatory standards.
