Airlift Hovercraft is a Gold Coast based manufacturer of advanced hovercraft producing highly specialised craft for defence, government and commercial customers worldwide.
We are seeking a practical and organised production/process engineer to join the team and play a key role in the design, manufacturing, testing and delivery of exciting hovercraft projects.
This is a hands‐on engineering and production role, with a solid focus on daily scheduling, project management, BOM control and keeping multiple builds on schedule.Key responsibilitiesDevelop, maintain and actively manage production schedules across multiple hovercraftMaintain MS Project schedules and Gantt chartsUndertake design tasks using PTC Creo and Autodesk InventorCoordinate production between engineering, manufacturing, procurement and managementCoordinate procurement and supplier activities, particularly long lead time itemsMonitor project progress and identify schedule risks, critical path items and bottlenecksReview engineering drawings, specifications and customer requirements and translate them into practical production and procurement activitiesSupport engineering changes,



configuration control and production documentationWork directly with production staff to resolve manufacturing and assembly issuesSupport testing, commissioning and customer acceptance activitiesAbout youA degree in a relevant engineering discipline (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Aerospace, Process)Strong organisational and project coordination skillsStrong practical mechanical aptitude and an interest in manufacturingExperience using MS Project and with Gantt Charts, production scheduling/planningAbility to interpret engineering drawings and technical specificationsExperience with CAD software, PTC Creo experience is highly desirableMarine and/or defence experience is highly desirableAbout usAirlift Hovercraft is a Gold Coast based manufacturer of advanced hovercraft.
